Agilytic and 1% for the Planet

Building a company with environmental integrity has always been at the forefront of our minds — which is why we decided to join 1% for the Planet in 2021.
From the beginning, Agilytic has been advocating for the creative and pragmatic use of resources, focused on optimizing rather than growing at all costs or changing for the sake of it.
As we considered ways to have a positive impact on the environment, we were mindful to consider initiatives that were geared towards actions rather than words, tangible contributions rather than opaque programs, nested in a network with global reach but featuring local members.
We think we found that with 1% for the Planet.
What is 1% for the Planet?
1% for the Planet is a member-based nonprofit organization where businesses all over the world commit to donating 1% of their annual sales — not profit… sales! — to environmental nonprofit organizations. These organizations work on issues that focus on bettering the planet, like climate advocacy, food policy, wildlife restoration, and much more.
Through active and engaging partnerships between businesses and nonprofits, this global network puts their money where their mouth is.
Which means our clients do, too. Every time an organization commits to a project with Agilytic, a portion of that project’s proceeds go towards selected environmental causes.
Playing a small part
While we are proud to be a 1% for the Planet member, we know this is just a humble start.
In our line of work, we intend to continuously reduce the environmental impact caused by:
Mobility choices, such as business travel by car, through remote work, alternative transport modes, and innovative multi-modal mobility solutions.
Cloud services, through resource optimization and vendor selection criteria that include the renewable share of energy.
